I did a closer inspection on my newly established reef tank , and found some new creatures that I never seen before .
Can you please help me ID them ? Are reef safe? Are they a sign of disease or something ?...

yes that is a baby aiptasia for sure do not touch him and remove that little rock.sometimes when you just see a little one like that in a new tank they wither away cause not enough food .but if you crush him he will spread everywere . it is just easier to remove that rock and cleanit.

Those are not aiptasia. Aiptasia doesn't have a hard tube. Probably a species of serpulidae worm.

I agree with Sugar Magnolia, those are definitely not aiptasia. Their bodies do not have a hard tube shell like you see in the video. Those are just miniature feather dusters which are good to have.

I agree! if they are hard tubes they are feather dusters, they come in all sizes and colors, and they are filter feeders so they wont hurt anything. They do not look like aptasia to me
