Good Morning-
I have just started a 24 gallon nano reef with metal halides and I plan on keeping SPS corals and a clam in the future. I am trying to decide on a protein skimmer and I wanted everyone's opinion on the more economical/ideal skimmer. I want to purchase a Hang-on refugium later because I don't have much room for plumbing underneath. Here's the question is the refugium with a backpack skimmer a better deal than just the oceanic biocube skimmer. I also plan on using a oceanic biocube UV sterilizer later but I wanted everyone's opinion first. I am sorry that I cannot post links to the exact products I am talking about because first I am in school and second I am on my IPhone. I appreciate all the help!
