Ok, I will try to keep it simple. I have two separate systems right next to each other. I am setting up an ATO for both systems to replace ~2g of water each day out of each system. I have been tossing around a few ideas. How would you do this? I will say that low price is the top factor, next to it actually working correctly.
Option #1: Get two JBJ or Reef Fanatic ATO and hook up pumps to them. If I am spending $20 for each pump, is there a way I can hook up the pump from a Tunze Osmolator? Most cheaper pumps only have a 36" head height. I trust the Tunze to be more than that. Total cost for both systems- ~$200
Option #2- Get a Reefkeeper lite, add a S1 module and two float valves. Only one valve per system(scary) Total cost-~$235
I simply don't have time to mess around with DIY. And I don't want cheap pumps that won't pump at least 5'. I plan on have one 50g Brute with RO and putting both ATO pumps in there.
Any suggestions?
