I have what appears to be a stringy/white cotton like substance between polyps of my PPE's. The polyps themselves appear healthy and are open during the day but at night, I notice this stuff.

Should I try to remove it? Dip the PPE's?

I have Revive, TMPCC.

I did a dip on them when I received the frag 3 weeks ago with CoralRX.

Thanks!

How long has it been there? Sounds more like a sponge than fungus, you can tell the difference by smelling them though, that fungus stinks.

+1 to sponge. Eventually it can overgrown and drown out corals. It is easily pulled off.

Yeap, try to syphon some with an air tube and smell it, like organism said.
You can tell the difference between fungus/sponge also by the way it grows, most of the time.
You need to watch how it grows, if sponge.
All of the sponges I've got are ok.
I like sponges!!!
