Can this be fixed?

I bought a used Euro-Reef RS180 on ebay last week. It arrived yesterday but when I opened the box I discovered that a piece of the neck had broken. See attached picture.

Is it possible to fix this? What would I use to reattach it? Is there a safe glue for this? What would you recommend?

Or do I have to just send it back? :worried:

You can use weld-on acrylic glue.

You will need weldon to fix it. I'm not sure what number weldon, I think #14. You can get it at home depot.

Nope, you need weldon #16 which is not available at HD (HD may carry other products with "weldon" on the label, PVC cement IIRC, but they don't carry the stuff you want).

Weldon #16 is acrylic solvent that's been thickened so that it's consistency is something like runny toothpaste. It's messy, and not as strong as a regular acrylic solvent, but great for repairs.
