I keep going back and forth on what skimmer to use on my new system. I was decided to go with another SRO but now have been rethinking it and have been looking at the ATB 10.5 and 1260.

Any feed back on the ATB skimmers would be greatly appreciated. I own an SRO already so I am very familiar with their product.

I have an ATB Elegance 200 and love it. it's super quiet and pulls out a lot of poo. Victor's customer service is top notch as well. I don't think you can go wrong with the ATB.

Which one are you running on your tank? I am trying to decide between the 10.5 or the 1260. My system will be a total of about 400 gallons.

I looked at both, but went with the SRO. My interpretation was the ATB looked better built, but using ROs for many years (probably around 7-9ish), I've never had a problem with the quality and never needed to use customer service for anything. So, I went with the RO as it's familiar. If money is less of an issue, or you've had a bad experience with RO, then ATB certainly seems worth trying. They sure are perty :)
