I need a new pump to feed my inline chiller - here is the dilemma - has to flow at 1,000gph through a 3/4 line, submersible, and be every efficient - anyone make such an animal?

Thanks for the input!
Matt

Look at the Eheims......I'm sure you could find a normal or compact one that will work. Plus, they run forever.

I have an Ehiem 1262 on it now - rated at 900gph is just not enough - the unit is cycling too much.

I found a few threads that mentioned Laguna pumps and the 1500 is rated at 1500 (duh) and only consumes about 85 watts (one reefer measured at only 70). So far, that is the winner...

Look at the Eheim compact 5000. You can actually control the flow up to 1200gph.
