I tried to find the MSDS sheet on this product last winter with no luck so I passed. I hope someone knows if it is safe to use.

Unless it can be trace back to Dow, it'd take some expensive testing to prove that it's safe. That said, people rarely report problems with this type of product.

first dose went in tonight, no ill effects so far, mixes up clear, no brown tint or residue like dow pedalow

Start slow in case it is contaminated with ammonia or heavy metals. :)

The trouble with products like that is whoever is packaging it can change suppliers as needed to co with the low cost supplier. Since it is not labled as reef safe, food grade, etc, there is no quality standard to go by. Not worh the risk in my opinion. I use A&H baking soda, and have used epson salt, but I am to chicken to try driveway ice melt stuff!

Just my opinion, good luck!
