How do I handle a frag I purchased that is in my QT and I have realize it has Bubble algae. Do I get an emerald crab and put it in my QT or just pull out the frag and scrap off the algae? It is really close to a few polyps as you can see in the pic.

I would remove the frag from the QT and scrape off the bubble algae (try not to pop it). Flush it with salt water and return it to your QT. You should be able to remove the algae with minimal damage to the polyps. This is why we quarantine! Good luck.

After you scrub it, you could consider doing a hydrogen peroxide dip. Although I've never don that myself.

If it was in the QT, you'd probably do best to assume there are bubble algae spores in there now. So you might not want to put it back in there without cleaning the QT out.
