Hi I had a RBT anemone I traded a fellow reefer for when her split. It had been in her tank about two weeks. I brought it home acclimated it for about 30 min floating then slowly added tank water until the bag was about 50/50. I placed it center tank on the sand bed, still attached to the rock it came with. It looked great all day and all night, this morning I left for work and It looked great. When I come home this evening it is all gone, pieces scattered about. The only real change I can think is she had T5 and I have LEDs.

Parameters are
salinity 1.026
temp 78
Nitrate 0
Nitrite Alkalinity 200
PH 8.2

Tank is 90 gallons 40gallon sump protein skimmer BRS GFO, Carbon, UV Sterilizer Lots of flow. Set up for about 18months all other corals are doing great.

I hope I covered everything, anything else I can check to find out why it died?

Thanks to all

It probably took a walk to find a happy place and ended up in your powerhead.

If your tank is under 6 months old, there may be some other issues to address. Like how your nitrites or alkalinity are 200 and your nitrates are 0. Which is pretty much unheard-of BTW.

Sorry typed to fast nitrites 0

Tank is 18 months old, and plenty of coral doing great.

Powerhead sounds like it could be to blame never thought of that, gonna check it out. Thanks
