My phos checker started to act strange recently.Previously,For the last 4 months or so my readings would be consistently between .09 and 00 .Yesterday it had a L Hi error several times then gave me high readings. ie .23 , .27, .34 I tried a different curvette and made sure it was clean and dry.
The tanks hold sps colonies and all appear very colorful and healthy so I now believe the checker is giving me bad readings.It will take several attempts to get it to not read the error L Hi and when it finally asks for C2 the reading is 10 to 20 times higher then I expect.Can you please let me know if there is something I can try to get a accurate reading or is the meter faulty and require replacement.
