View Full Version : Aquaclear 70 or 110

ok guys I'm going to be making the DIY fuge out of one of these type filters and I need your help. Which would you suggest would be most appropriate for a 20 gallon long? The 70 or 110 model. I can always adjust the filter intake pipe so it isn't on the sand sucking it up.

wow seems to be a tie at the moment could I have everyone's opinion and if any of you guys use the d.i.y method can you explain your results with it. thank you Brian

I do not, but I had an intank media rack in my nanocube and it was a great performer. Intank makes great stuff!

Anyone sale have results on using them? And which would you go with.

If in doubt, go big. You can mod the impeller on that 110 if the flow is too much.

IMO the bigger the better.

Thank you guys Im gonna pick up a 110 when i get a chance to make it to my local fish store or petsmart.
