I want to setup a new sump under my existing 240 gallon and was wondering if I could use one of these?

If not, can someone point me in the right direction. Don't want to spend a ton of money on an acrylic sump.

Thanks!

Why does your sump need to be acrylic? You can find 50 gal glass tank on CL for about $1 per gallon.

Alot of people use rubbermaid or the livestock feed/water from like tractor supply

My issue i have very limited space under my tank because of how the stand was built. It might be easier to build to new stand to house my current 75 gallon sump vs. trying to build another sump.

Does anyone have a good diy to build a stand strong enough for a 240g 8' aquarium?

I'm not sure if he's still around, but you could also try and PM rocketengineer, I know he posted in the DIY forum about helping people build their own stands.
