Tank on metal stand question

Hello,

I have a used 6 foot tank that I just bought and noticed that when I put it on the metal stand, the tank only makes contact with the stand on the 4 corners. Most of the sides along the length of the tank is not touching the stand, especially the middle part.

Is this a problem and is it the tank getting enough support?

Is there undue stress on the tank along the sides where it does not make contact with the stand?
