I am thinking of replacing the LS in my hob fuge with miracle mud. For the minimal amount that I will be able to add, will it provide any benefits?
I have a Small AquaFuge2 Water Capacity: 2.50 Gallons Dimensions: 13" L x 4.5" W x 12" T
If it will provide benefits, how much/deep should I use?

I don't see any SPS corals on your list. I have read that miracle mud helps with trace elements for SPS corals and that is one of the reasons people use it is for SPS tanks. I have looked into it and did not find any benefit for a mixed reef setup that I was doing. There are several different places to get miracle mud or something like it and they each give their recommendations on how much of their product to use.
I would stick with what you have. You are probably getting some good pod production out of it and if you switch that will take some time to build up.
But I know the feeling of wanting to try something new.
