Hi
I am wondering about the dosageof Ultra bio for non-Ultralith system.
I reckon dose 1drop per 100litres for two weeks and then maybe 1 or 2 drops per 100litres twice weekly as a sort of maintenance dose. How does this sound?
Also is it better(not necessary) to refridgerate the product once open?
And lastly I would use Ultrabak with the bio but I have a full bottle of Zeostart3 to be used first. As this is used to feed bacteria(zeobak) in the Zeo system, I presume that the product can be used as a carbon source for your Ultra bio product too.

Thanks in advance

Ps Love the balling light products.

Hi,

I am using this method for a long time, what are your water parameters? What do you aim for?

Sal 35ppt Temp 25. Alk 8 Ca 420 Mg 1400 .Phos zero(Hanna). Nitrate 0 (Salifert).
I have zero on nitrate and phosphate as I have a little cyano that is making these undectable.
I basically want a clean healthy system. Prefer Start3 to vodka or vinegar and like look of FM products as very happy with balling lite. I am not interested in full Ultralith though.

It is better to keep bio refregerated after open it. If you have cyano it seems nutrient export has to be better. Bio and Bak will provide steady bacterial population which will absorbs nitrates and phosphates from the system. Yes, you can use zeo start 3.

will the Start3 not do same job as the Bak would with the bio? Both are carbon sources to feed the bio, right??

Bak is the food for bacteria, bio are bacterias....
