I find the red sea pro test kits to be the best on the market.

I use RedSea Pro test kits as well for ALK, CA, Mag, Nitrate, Potassium, Iron, Idodide. I find their kit is the only kit in the market that I can read the value for Potassium and Nitrate, Iron, and Iodide. I use Hanna phosphate checker for phosphate.

+ 2 on the Red Sea pro, I have been very impressed wit their quality and ease of use. Plus they offer refills for the kits which make them a little more affordable.

I use the Hanna checkers for testing Alk, Ca, and PO4. I do use the Red Sea Mg Pro test kit, only because Hanna hasn't come out with a Mg checker yet.

The Hanna checkers are fairly easy to use and takes the "guesswork" out of counting drops and looking for subtle color changes.

I use Elos and Salifert test kits. It's funny, I was going to say I just bought a Red Sea Pro calcium kit and love it and thinking of switching the others as well. Was surprised so many people recommended it. :)

I use Hanna alk (it matches salifert), and Hanna Phosphate, and Salifert for the rest. I've heard alot of good things about Red Sea Pro but don't like changing test kit brands.

LaMotte for Alk if you want to go kit, or a Hanna Alk checker.

Definitely a meter for PO4 - Hanna checker is cheap.

LaMotte for Nitrate
