View Full Version : Need help deciding what tank to buy

I will be sitting up my second tank. Lost my first in hurricane it was 58 gal 36 by 18. I wanted to put together a 75 it just ain't goIng to happen not enough room I only have about 3 foot area to work with since I'm need to go smaller can anyone recommend a tank been looking at red sea max but have read a lot of cons then pros on them tanks then I seen bio cubes at our local fish store they look alright I'm looking for a tank with built in overflow and would like a sump underneath I was hoping to stay smaller then my last but a little bigger then a bio cube any help would be appreciated

A 40B is the same footprint, 36x18. But you'd have to drill it.

I have a 65 gallon tall that is 36 by 18 by 24

You can always custom order a tank with specific dimensions through your LFS.

Does anyone now about the red sea max system are they worth it I've read good and bad things about them I don't want to have a chiller system trying to keep my tank simple and still keep sps and a clam or two
