yeah, but i don't know why anyone would want to. I just go in naked.. lol.. if something really hurts you in your aquarium, you might not want to go outside because i don't think you could take that danger either..

Yup. There are a LOT of things in your tank that have the potential to hurt you real bad or make you really sick. There is also the consideration of protecting the coral from your hand.

Gloves are a good idea. Use a rubber band around the wrist to keep them from filling with water.

Just don't rely on latex gloves to protect you from anything more penetrating than seawater. Many organics go through pretty fast. :)

I use them to keep my arms out of the mouths of my clowns.

Brilliant, I hadn't thought of that. and was annoyed by my nitrile gloves filling every time I stuck my hand in the tank.

Also they offer some protection from fireworms(my concern) and zoas(my GF's concern). She hates it when I go in the tank without gloves on and I actually bought a pair of shoulder length gloves to make her feel a little better, but they're so cumbersome they rarely get used.

Nitrile with the rubber bands will be my new weapon of choice. If you're going to use latex gloves make sure you use the non powdered unless you want all that powder floating around in your tank.
