Profilux PII EX problems...

Hi there, I bought a used PII PLUS EX (just the head unit, and temp probe).

Dont have the plug bar yet.

The problem is that I connected the unit via USB to my laptop and there seems to be issue with EITHER the software or the unit.

Example 1:
Once the unit connects to the software, the numbers on the software are all jumping about: ie the numbers in the date field are running up and down on the software.

Example 2:
When I click on the temp probe tab, the current temperature reading is counting up and down really fast on the software.

I was using the 4.0.6.2 software beta version because with the previous version I couldnt get the USB to work.

Have I been sold a practically useless head unit or is this just a software issue?

OK, I just installed the software version 4.0.5.0 which is non beta the same issues are there. Does this mean the unit is a faulty unit? Or does anyone else have similar problems?

For future users who may have the same issues, what was the actual problem.

I downloaded the older version of the profilux software. Using the latest version solved the issue.
