Came home today and noticed that the shell of one of my cerith snail looks like it has algae on it. This is the white/purplish type, not the green or brown algae.
Is this normal? :sad2:

Yes, totally normal. Mine are mostly pink.

That's a good thing. Your corraline algae is building up.
If you ever get the green hairy stuff you can clean it off with a toothbrush
(preferably one you have dedicated to the reef and not what you plan to brush your teeth with in the mornings ...)
