This is the big one! Our holiday meeting/party, being hosted by our treasurer Michael Williams, will feature door prizes, an extra special raffle and all kinds of holiday decor and food. On display will be Michaels 150 gallon aquarium and his beautifully adorned home. Club officer elections will be taking place at this meeting as well as 2012 membership sign ups.

Don't forget that our Christmas meeting is this Sunday. Be sure to RSVP to the event listed here. A few new things about the meeting:
* Bring in 2 cans or 2 boxes of non-perishable food items and you'll receive one raffle ticket for your generosity. Limit one ticket per attendee. Food items will be donated to a local food pantry for the needy.
* Please bring in a dish or snack to share with your fellow reef hobbyist.
* Are you interested in running for one of our officer positions? We will be electing a President, a VP/raffle director, a Treasurer, and a Secretary/membership director. I plan to run for President again, Mike Williams plans to run for Treasurer again and Eric Lyons plans to run for Secretary again. No one is thus far running for VP/raffle director. Please email [email protected] if you are interested in running for any of these offices.

A few updates about our Christmas meeting this Sunday.
* Door prizes include gift vouchers from Ocala Aquariums and merchandise from Tanks a Lot. There will be around 5 door prizes and all attendees will get a door prize ticket. Will pick the winners throughout the meeting.
* The raffle will feature several $25 gift certificates from our sponsors as well as $100 worth of merchandise, a 2012 membership and a MORE t-shirt.
* The first 20 people at the meeting will receive a nice size sample of MORE's Special Blend dry fish food, featuring a mixture of 5 different 1st grade commercial fish foods and a homemade blend of dried frozen and fresh seafood. Your fish will love this stuff! A nice size bag of the blend will be given away as one of the door prizes.
