hey guys,

let me say im sorry since im sure this has been beaten to death in thread lately i just cant find anything specific enough via the search.

i have a 90 gallon 48 x 24 x 20 ( i think ) its somewhere in this range for depth and width. i keep mostly lps and paly zoa. one red cap right now. not planning too much sps i prefer the lps. im trying to get serious on my equipment and am planning two mp 40 w es for the tank for flow and led ligthing

two part question here:

1. should i go with ai sol or radion, and why

2. can i get away with 2 units of either

thanks guys, i dont want to go the wrong route.

If price doesn't matter, I would go with the radion for decent penetration and a wider spread along with RGB spectrum. The AI Sol will have deeper penetration with a smaller spread unless you raise them higher. I owned the SOL Blue and now have the AI nano and love them both, but if money wasn't a concern I would go radion just for the extra channels. They are both top of the line fixtures so whatever route you choose, both will grow corals and look great doing it.

I vote radions. I have good coverage/color and par. I max out at 85% peak. No bleaching or browning. I have 2 Radions over my 4 x 2 x 2 for over 3 weeks.

The pictures looks weird with how the camera sensor picks up the Leds but it looks great in person.
