Has anyone every used tranquil? I came across this site and saw the med in their catalog. I see that it is commonly used for shipping fish, to reduce stress, etc. Is it possible to use in the DT to catch rascally fish that resist every other method? I have to QT my entire tank (ICH outbreak) and I am hoping to find some means of catching my fish other than emptying the tank.

Interesting question. I'm a little familiar with the med being used in very small doses as transport valium-type drug. It will also completely immobilize a fish. I would be very hesitant to use it on fish that are already weakened by the parasite and would question dosage & removal of the drug in a DT, also its effect on LR, inverts, bio-filter, etc. I believe its usually added to transport bags or HTs; not stocked tanks.
