Roger, I have a 6100 that I've been running for a long time without issue.. Today I changed the profiles on my Apex to try and get a wave going, which worked well. However, now the driver for one of the pumps sounds like it's almost going to beep, then squeaks instead, repeating every few minutes. The pump never stops, and I've taken it apart to clean, but there's really nothing to clean. Sometimes it runs for 15 minutes or so without noise, but it goes back to squeaking :)
The only difference I can see in the new Apex profile is that the pumps now run 0 - 100, instead of the 30-100 I had them at all last year.

any ideas how to get it to stop squeaking?

Thanks

My guess would be the old pump has the 6080.600 drive unit and the brakes are engaging from the start and stop motion, a 6100.700 drive unit upgrade should solve this, this drive unit is necessary for this type of operation.

Thanks Roger. A drive unit sounds like some type of electrical part, but the number you quoted comes up as an impeller replacement....is that just a difference in terminology?

Yes, it is the drive magnet and we use that term as on older units the prop or impeller was separate but 6100.700 is complete with prop.
