For Christmas I received a Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/504845-REG/Manfrotto_055XPROB_055XPROB_Aluminum_Tripod_Legs.html). I was looking around last night on B&H at all of the different heads, but am struggling since there are so many. Any specific ones that you recommend? The main purpose at this point would be for taking macro photos of the tank. Thanks!

If your main purpose is macro, then it probably doesn't matter what head you get. Take a look at Really Right Stuff (google). There is a lot of info on their site.

Really Right Stuff is good. If video and smooth panning is not your primary focus, I would suggest a ball head mount. It allows for flexible positioning of still cameras.

+1 for Ball head. I've got this one: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/501987-REG/Sunpak_620_PISTOLGRPQR_Pistol_Grip_Ballhead.html and love the pistol grip. Super easy to re-position on the fly and has no problem holding my camera (Nikon D7000)
