I'm currently setting my very first SW tank (90 gallon). I'm on a tight budget as I'm currently getting all of my equipment together yet. I have seen that most people that have MP10s usually have them dialed back to 60-70% power. EcoTech says that one can run up to a 50 gallon tank so would two MP10s work for my 90? I plan on having ~800gph return on the tank along with the two powerheads.

Thank you for your help!

I think 2 mp10's no problem or 1 mp40...

I'm going to try the two MP10s b/c I want to get the random wave motion in the tank.

Thank you for your input.

i just ordered a second mp40 for my 90g one just doesnt do it for me, not sure how 2 mp10 will work. my tank is 4 feet and the mp40 on full moves water 3 feet pretty nicely. i would suggest a mp40 and mp10 minimum

(2) VorTech MP10wES pumps sound like a great option providing that your aquarium thickness doesn't exceed 3/8".
