Looking to add some more live rock...mostly to get more life into the tank. Started with all dry rock and have added a little to seed but want to add more to help.

Anybody have experience with the LiveAquaria live rock?

Premium aquatics hands down. Have ordered around 300 lbs in the last couple of years and have been thrilled with the quality. I have some of the Bali alor rock that I just recently purchased that had a good size zoa colony on one of the pieces. Tons of color and lots of critters

I am looking to buy some live rock as well in the next few weeks. Did you guys quarantine the LR before putting it in your DT? Was it fully encrusted with coralline when you received it?

expensive, but you won't find better live rock with life on it. People have reported octopus, various fishes (gobies even), crabs and shrimp, etc as hitchhikers. This stuff is loaded. I recommend 'the package' but just take a look for yourself.

are you serious? An octopus as a hitchhiker? That would be awesome haha as long as its not a blue ringed one >.<

The rock from PA is fully cured and encrusted when it can. I live in Illinois so the shipping is only about 14 hours. I added directly to the tank and had life right away.

After much study I bought my LR from PA years ago, and have been very happy with my choice. I intentionally avoided rock from Florida due to the high number of mantis shrimp and other nasties. Recently I've heard very good things about BRS's pukani dry rock if you want shape and low cost; obviously it won't have any life on it.

I have always heard good things about PA, but I bought my rocks from MarcoRocks. Marco usually has really good end of year sales that can't be beat.
