I recently re-plumbed the drain system that goes from the DT to sump. The water column has all these fine particles which I am guessing the saw dust from the PVC. What is the best way to remove it?

If the particles are in fact sawdust, you can add a filtersock to your drain. Have you ruled out the possibility of microbubbles?

that was my first hunch. But I did my best to follow the 'bubbles' to ensure that they are actually particles. I also see some of them floating on top. They are very very miniscule.
I have a floss in the drain. Does that help?

Yes that should help.
Just make sure it doesnt get clogged, the last thing you want on your hands is a flood.

Thanks. How do I rule out if this is not a microbubbles issue? I stopped the return pump and it did not disappear. Does microbubbles stay in the water for sometime even if the pump is switched off?

I'm having same issue. With pumps turned off for a good 5 minutes, it's definitely particles. I had no sawdust. Many, many very fine particles.
