Going to be integrating an ATO system and also want an Auto Saltwater Change capability.
This will be used in conjunction with an APEX.
I will have 3 float switches in the sump. (High warning, fill level, low warning).
The ATO will only be 10 gallons, so it will not be capable of overfilling my sump even if there was an accident.
ATO will run off of switches to inform it when to fill.
Auto water change will drain for a set amount of time and fill using the float switch as a guide.
So my real question is can I just use regular old pumps to accomplish this?
Many buy dosing pumps... but I don't see why they are needed? Maybe because they don't have a programmable controller?
I'm thinking I'll be fine with the much less expensive regular pumps and some quality programming... What do you think?
