How often should I dose this product? I also have the esv mag supplement. How often should I dose that as well?
I have a 28 gal.
Alk 7.7
Cal 390
Mag 1290

How old is your tank? How many corals? I have a 34 gallon (been running for 3 years) and I have mainly soft corals with a few SPS up top (monti cap, digitata and clam) and I am currently dosing roughly 10-15ml of each ESV Mg, CA and Alk a day. My levels are: Ca = 440, Mg = 1350 and Dkh = 9. My monti cap and digitatas are growing like mad, and my coralline is also growing everywhere. Also, I use Red Sea Coral Pro salt. The more it grows, the more additives you will be adding. Just keep testing and adjusting as required. All of your numbers look a little low. Add slowly and see where that gets you.

Tank is only 2 months old. I have only one SPS and Torch, Zoo's and Mushroom. But I want to get my levels right on. My zoo closed up and hasn't opened in about one week and was thinking the levels is why. Coraline is popping up too.
I dosed 7ml of each last night and 18 ml of Mag.

You have to test and see how much your corals are taken in. More you add the more it will need. Just test so often and make sure its stay stable. Your reading are not bad. I would up cal and alk a little more.

Get an alkalinity test and monitor it. Dose both parts equally to maintain the proper alkalinity (say, 7-11 dKH). Trial and error will show you how much is needed to keep alk in the proper range, and calcium will follow along OK.

You may never need the magnesium if you use a good two part.

I give dosing instructions for my two part here, and ESV will be similar with a bit less needed than my Recipe #1 (and ignore the magnesium part of my DIY since ESV has it built in)

Also, you should tell us what your salinity is at. If you are mixing your water to 1.026 or 35ppm your levels might be higher, as opposed to 1.023...

Thanks guys....
My Salt level is 1.026
Randy, I have a Alk test kit and it measured 7.7 last night and cal is 390. I dosed both parts equally at 7ml last night at 9pm and will test it tonight to see if it made any improvement.
ESV instructions are 1ml per 4gal for both part 1 and part 2. I have approx 28 gal 28/4 = 7 ml....correct

I don't think you need dose anything yet, but starting with a small daily or once every 2 days dose is a fine plan. :)

This describes what I recommend for various parameters, including alkalinity:
