Protein Skimmer

I have a 72 gallon bow front with a 30 gallon sump and a 20 gallon refugium. I currently have a Coralife 125 and seems like it is time to upgrade. Can I have suggestions, not just brand but model.

how much space do you have for the footprint and how much are you looking at spending? With skimmers bigger is usually better (depending on the quality of the skimmer itself)

Between $300-$400. Don't know what you mean by footprint. I'm guessing space in the sump? I have alot. My sump size is 36x14x16.

I am running a SRO 2000 internal skimmer in my 20gal sump.

I am amazed at how well this skimmer works.

Yeah you have room for some pretty nice skimmers....unfortunately I didn't have a lot of room with my 90G DT w/30G sump so I went with a Reef Octopus 160xp....Nice skimmer, has a great air pull and good quality. People complain that the instructions are not very easy to follow....IMO it was about the easiest thing Ive built for the system
