That's a 5"-6" worm in a deli container. I pulled it out of my tank a few nights ago. Never before have I seen anything like it in my tank. Should I be worried?

I would be worried from the nightmares alone!!

They are cool looking, but can be predatory. How's your snail population looking these days?

There are a few threads on RC about those guys. Type of ployclad FW and I am fairly certain they are not good guys to keep.

Predatory Polyclad, known to eat clams and/or snails. Luckily, they are not asexual, like a lot of flatworms, so there must be 2 to reproduce.

No reason to be worried now that it's gone.

Yeah Ive had a problem with them....snail will go missing lol. They are nocturnal so you will find them when the lights are off. So keep your eyes open and make sure there arent anymore.

Thanks for all the useful info. Great replies!
My Solana is 2 years old. Not at the beginning but for a while snails have been dying mysteriously, ceriths and astrinas especially but not at a crazy rate. I have 2 large clams that never appeared munched on and have always been really healthy. Very glad to hear that they are not asexual and that may explain why I'm not overrun.
