Hey Guys,
Been doing some research on the quietest fan that still pushes a good amount of air, and need some help from you guys. I've heard mixed reviews about Stealth Double Ball Bearing fans, but wanted to get feedback from the reefkeeper's perspective.
I'll have 3 MH fixtures/reflectors in there and will have an open top (thinking of just installing the fans on the top- 2 blowing into and 2 blowing out of the tank) on a 60"L X 30"W X 24"T tank.
Suggestions???? If so, can you also tell me where you got them?
Thanks in advance for the help, :wavehand:

I had two 5" computer fans in my old 250W MH canopy. I also had two actinic t5's. They worked great, I got them from radio shack.
I think four 5" fans would work for you.

Thanks! So do those come with the adapters? Or should I say (since I'm not the most knowledgeable electronic guy out there), do I need to purchase anything else to get these working?
They sound great though!

Yeah, I actually went to Radio Shack and the one I went to had absolutely NO selection (and the ones they did have were super small).
I'm with you on the computer fans, but Radio Shack was a bit of a let-down.
Thanks for the input though! :)

Any other suggestions?
I'm leaning towards the Noctua fans, but still have a few questions...
1) How do you connect this to normal "plug" (i.e., need to plug into outlet)? I'm guessing using some kind of adapter, but unsure which one I need.
2) If I do go with Noctua, I was looking at the one AutoDave suggested, but after reading some reviews it looked like it runs at 500RPM (which is what it's running when producing barely any noise), so I'm concerned on whether this would provide enough airflow. Might look at the NF-P12 version which has higher RPM's, but then again, is slightly noisier. Thoughts? (anyone, but AutoDave might be the biggest help here).
Thanks,
Chad
