Claude, I bought FM balling Lite system and the FM Balling Triple pump doser on the 4th Jan 2011. During the Christmas period just past, I noticed that some of the text on the graphics display is not appearing. Eg if the time was 18.28, part of the 8 is missing, as if the display is losing ability to display the charectors.
In worry I informed the retailer. He only got back to me after the 4th January, but I looked at the manual and the warranty in the UK is 24th months anyway.
So...I switched the unit off and one again and the text was still missing, but this time after a few hours once the unit is warmed up it seems, all the test reappears.
But if I switch it off the text will go again and only after many hours does the text reappear.
I know the GHL versions have this issue and eventually the graphical display loses most of the text/charectors rendering the unit unsuable.
Can you please inform me what I must do? I told the retailer I would ask you. I am a member on Ultimate Reef. com, the retailer is a sponsor there anyway. I was one of the first people to buy your dosing units.
Please advise me so that I can approach the retailer as he told me to let him know what you say about this issue.
Right now my tank is being reset due to the Dino issue I had a while ago and so I can send it in for repair at the moment.
