I have the tunze osmolator with a 32 gallon can with my sump on the floor. It keeps creating a siphon which is filling up the sump, causing the skimmer to overflow and messing with my salinity. What else can I use for this setup if I were to eliminate the garbage can? I do not want to route the top off line into my display tank.

Isnt there a way to put a hole in your supply line so it breaks the siphon? I dont have an ato yet but plan on utilizing one, so this is relevant to my interests as well.

Could you keep the ATO line going into the sump above the level of the water level in the reservoir? This should eliminate the siphoning.

I mean the outlet of the ATO line in the sump (will also need to keep line above sump water line to prevent a reverse siphon).

Yeah the line is above the water line in the sump but it keeps filling it up every once in awhile....l.i have not fully come to the conclusion whether or not there is a problem with the sensor or not

We have the JBJ in a 20 gallon tank next to our sump. We top off about 17 gallons per week and top off with kalk and vinegar. Has worked flawlessly.

Yeah that could work. Maybe i will buy another tank to go next to the sump as my reservoir since they are cheap at petco now

I think this explains the issue I have been having (only had an ato running for a few days now). I am going to move my line so it sits higher than everything else.
