Help ID this Critter

I made the mistake of adding a rock from a friends tank into my tank without dipping it. These critters immediatley popped up on my glass. I decided to take the rock out and dip it, as well as remove the critters off my glass. Twelve hours later, there are another 6 on the side of my glass. I used a turkey baster to get them off the and they came right off. I had never noticed the critters before adding the new rock. Does anyone know what these things are and are they good or bad?

Thats kinda what I was thinking...but why would they just pop up so quickly? Thats 11 in the last 12 hours. Do spaghetti worms even cling to the glass? I thought they spent most of their time in the sand.

That's what I was kinda wondering also as I've only seem to found mine in the rocks and sand like you stated. Not sure why they are the glass.

They can climb, but yes normally to live in the sand or rock. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks. My only concern was I had never seen them before until adding my friends rock, and the fact that even after removing the ones off the glass completely from my tank they seemed to pop back up. Could his rock have been infested with these things and they were just not visible?

Just checked my tank and there are another 4 to 6 up on the glass. I keep removing them completely and they keep coming back. Grrr...

I agree spaghetti worms. leave them in the tank :)

Nothing wrong with them. Ya maybe his rock was loaded in them, but that is a good thing. Definitely keep them.
