Hi Guys,
Last night I was doing my usual routine and checking out the tank. I looked at some LR and noticed some VERY small black circular bugs on the rock. My first thought was that it was red bugs, but these are black and didn't look like the photos of red bugs that I saw online.

Also, they are not on corals, just on one piece of live rock as far as I can tell. These guys are TINY! about the size of this period: .

Anyone have any ideas as to what it might be?

Here is what I currently have. Just a picture from my camera phone. Also if it helps ID, they are fairly fast moving bugs and crawl quickly on the rock.

I had those in my 75 gallon, super fast moving little black specks. They killed my candle light acro.. I have no idea what they are. I think I remember people posting about having them on their montis.

I didn't, but everything in the tank is fine and nothing ever seems to get irritated from it.

good news. im surprised there are so few people asking about them though.

i did some other posts where people nuked their tanks with interceptor after spotting these... i haven't noticed any damage from mine either, so don't see why i wouldnt keep them.
