As an Oregon resident I felt duty bound to host the Oregon Mummy Eye in my tank. Actually I got an amazing deal and I think this piece is beautiful and I was hoping to get some care advice from my fellow reefers... It's in a 90 gallon sps tank on the sand with duel 250 watt MH's. My questions are, should i keep it in the shadows or bring it up a notch to the light? Should I get it off the bottom so it doesn't get bumped around by verts? Should I feed it? It's the size of a pea and it stares at me like the eye of Sauron. Any advise welcome, thanks.

I personally would mount it somewhat low on the rock work, and yes feeding it will help it grow. Just be careful not to blast it with too much light too quickly

Yes start low and slowly work your way up. What kind of substrate do you have? I have heard that sand can cause bacterial infections on growing chalices, so I would agree with low on the rockwork.
