Sorry if this is a repeat but without the search google search getting a little tedious. I just want to know if there is any mortar out there for aquascaping other than marcorocks? Anything at a local hardware store? I know cement leeches and that takes a long time to cure. I was wondering if there is anything else out there? Thanks!

I ran into the same problem. After researching marco rocks and thorite I used hydraulic water stop cement. These three products are apparently pretty similar. My fish were fine and the pH stayed stable. I don't know if I would use a ton of it all at once on an existing, mature system though.

awesome. i was looking at that but hadnt done the complete research yet. I was going to use it on a new build so there wont be anythign in it for awhile so i imagine the ps would pull most of the crud out and just hope the ph stays stable?
