I was cleaning my overflow with a scraper tonight to get a patch of algae off where light seeps in and wound up knocking a bunch of these things off. Of course they almost immediately wound up in my display tank.

They are the size of a brine shrimp with a white body and what I would describe as "tufts" at either end. The fish spit them immediately and stayed away.

Anyone know what they are?

It is a Scypha aka pineapple sponge. It's a common hitchhiker, and is a completely harmless filter feeder. You'll likely wind up with quite a few of them eventually.
