Brand new Apex Lite, display issue

I plugged in the new apex unit I received tonight with just the module, display and EB8. The display lit up, but all of the characters are jumbled together on the left side of the screen. I have rebooted it 3 times and updated the firmware, just to be safe. Nothing has fixed my issue and I cannot read the display. Any help?

Seems like a display hardware defect. Contact your retailer or Neptune.

That's what I love to hear from an expensive product I've had for 3 hours. I have contacted Neptune's and am awaiting a reply. If anyone else has any ideas, please continue to post.

A Neptune technician is working on it now. I'm happy with the customer service so far, so hopefully we'll get this taken care of quickly.
