Light timer!!!

YAAAY! I finally got a timer. It's a marinland aquarium light timer. Problem is that I don't know how to set it. I turned the dial to the current time then I turn it on so the click thingy appears. After, I punch one of those grey tabs so that the lights will come on in 15min. After about 2 hours, the lights do not come on. Can someone help me?

Those often have a switch in the center of the timer that allows you to turn the lights/pumps/ etc. on, off, or set to the timer. Those positions may be noted by a straight line, or an "0" perhaps...just a thought.
