Thank you for everyone who voted for my tank. It is a fantastic to know that you all enjoyed the photos.

I started reefing in 2008 when I moved to live in Cairns, QLD Australia - right on the doorstep of the Great Barrier Reef. Scuba diving every weekend, my passion for all things marine led me to set up my first tank. It was a 71L Haliea. Anyways, I successfully kept fish, and some corals, although it was a steep learning curve. A few nano tanks later, I became frustrated with the limitations of such a system. Hence I decided to setup the ultimate nano - all the benefits of a bigger system, whilst satisfying the criteria of a small tank.

Below are the specs of the tank, and some pictures.

There is also a link to my original tank journal on the Marine Aquarium Society of Australia site containing more photos, and information.

This tank has not won the Reef Central nTOTM, and also has been featured in Popular Science magazine as a "High Tech Reef Tank"

Happy reefing to all.

Awesome, love the mix of corals & the flame angel! I want one but have been scared I will get a little red terror that eats everything.

I'm really amazed of how good this tank looks. By the way, what is name of the crab on picture 7?

That would be a Porcelain Crab or a Anemone Crab. I love mine.

How do you keep the LPS from stinging their neighbors? Everything is very close together.
