Today I got thinking about stomatopod tattoos to permanently ink myself with them, by google imagining mantis shrimp tattoos I came across this really impressive one of a Peacock on someone.

Makes me really want to get one or some I'd like to see what sort of 'concept art' a tattoo designer can do with a L.maculata mid strike they can do nearly anything today in tattoos!

This would be an alright small one I recon which just details the overall body of an L.mac

Awesome tattoo!

I've been kicking a mantis piece around for quite some time as well. I was leaning more towards a head on shot, something like the first one linked. I just have to figure out how to tie it in with my other pieces. I know a guy over on another forum is in the process of starting a reef themed upped arm/shoulder piece with corals a tang & some other stuff. Waiting to see how that ends up.
