Hi all,
Wondering if I could get some answers to this:
Can I place the PH probe (lab grade) and temp probe 2inches apart?
Have an Apex Lite.
Also, what's the average life of these probes?
Thanks!

Yes, you can place them as close as you with; no problem.
Life expectency is an interesting question and that really comes down to 2 things; 1, if you get the lab grade or standard (IMO the lab grade lasts nearly 2x longer) and 2, how well you take care of it (e.g., cleaning it, etc). I have PH probes over 3 years old and I had a temp probe from an early controller that went 10 years but the Apex is ony a few years old but I have temp probes from the early days of the Apex still alive and well.

So is it just the ORP and PH Probes that need to maintain a 6" min distance?

The 6" restriction was on the older AC3 family of controllers; the restriction no longer exists on the Apex due to the way probes are issolated in the electronics.
