this is almost the exact same brain I have
I got him with diseased tissue. I would stay about a small pizza slice with the tip of the triangle just before touching his mouth. Smaller white spots cover some of the sides.
I would say 1/10th of the brain is dead.

Any help on resuscitation? Placement? FLow? I have a metal halide above him. Its been around 2 weeks and i have not seen much inlfation. TIssue has not been dieing off but copepods and amphipods are using the dead skeleton which I assume is not good.

Low light and good water quality with a little time are the best bet. If the tissue continues to die you might consider a dip of some sort but as long as it is not progressing I would leave it alone.

I thought it would be a good idea to cover my light somewhat to give the brain more shade
It beats physically moving it

Possibly slightly lower flow if possible.
