I'm trying to figure how to go about building a clear mesh top for my 125g flat back hex tank and am drawing a blank..
The tank is acrylic and has eurobracing on the top. I also have a wire through each side opening for my Tunzes.. Covered center overflow..
I don't know if I should make one for each opening or the whole thing, but would not like anything, if possible to block lots of light and needs to keep fish from jumping. Thanks!!

i would just do the basic mesh top with the framing kit and just lay it over the top. some protection is better than no protection.... (that's what she said....lol)

Could anyone see any cons against just blocking off the back with eggcrate? Anyone with a similar setup try it? Just wondering if the fish jumped, would they get stuck ontop the bracing or eventually flop back in the tank.. Thanks!

Or does someone make a mesh that is more ridgid that I could just cut to size and lay over the openings? Would there be any downfalls of using a fiberglass mesh?
