We've had our tank up and running for about a year now and most of our sponges had died off. They are very difficult to keep alive. We contacted Richard and asked him to pick us out some colorful stuff to refresh our tank and he really delivered.

Can anybody identify this somewhat creepy looking thing? It's about 3 inches across.

Thanks for everything Richard. Our tank looks colorful again :celeb2:

That is a type of mushroom from here in the gulf, that is a new animal, not known to science yet. I seldom see them, very rare critter..and not yet classified...you have something very special there...like the orange critter I sent you, also not classified yet!

+1 for Richard. He sent me some really awesome stuff. I have a few crabs that have covered themselves completely with some colorful zoas. Cooliest thing ever. The startfish, it's black with orange spots, never seen one. He's finally aclimated and hunting the live rock. I got so many extras, way more then I thought I would get. Every peice of rock is covered with sponges and they are coming back. I will get a thread going here soon when I can get some better pictuers. Here's a teaser...

Sorry thats a POS underwater camera I was using. This picture does it Zero Justice for how good this setup is doing. That pic was when everything was put in, looks way better.

Lovely! How much did you have to order to get that much more color? Did you just add some rocks to your display or did you move some in and take some out?

I should be getting my order next week after almost three months of waiting. I first got sick, then it was the holidays and I was out of town, and then freakin' work sent me out to a customer for two months...TWO MONTHS! I've never had to travel with the job before and then boom...two months in Michigan *grumble* Guess it's a good thing I didn't get the tank set up before I went though because I wouldn't have been home to care for it *sigh*
