I found this weird lump on my Catalaphyllia jardinei. What could it be?

It's mesenterial filaments.

^^^^ Yep.
It's mouth is enlarged as well. She's not happy about something. Are there any soft corals near by, or critters that may pick at it?

The picture was taken on feeding time, maybe that's why the mouth is open. I don't think it usually is. I don't think anyone is picking on it, at least I haven't seen that happening (there should be no fishes or invertebrates that would..).
I don't know if they have a war going on, there is a sarco on the next rock up (the elegance coral is on the sand) but it's not very close.
